FILE NOTES FROM TSC MEETING WITH EDUCATION COMMITTEE

▪️Recruitment will be sub-county based. Sub Counties will be given a specified number of slots for permanent and pensionable internships. Locals from those places are to be given priority.

▪️Teachers to apply online on the TSC portal and take advantage of the extended deadlines. Take note that there is NO application to be made to CDF/Constituency offices.

▪️Recruitment by TSC will mainly prioritize those who have stayed out the longest. This nondiscrimination policy allows teachers to get absorbed in order of their graduation from college regardless of their grades.

▪️Other issues discussed were delocalization policy, skewed promotions, punitive medical cover, the plight of interns, deductions from payslips, regularization of employment, and transition to Junior Secondary and TPAD.

NB. Issue No. 4 touches on matters of policy. TSC will table a report over issues raised by the Education Committee for scrutiny.

Nyamira County To Establish An Athletics Training Center.

H.E. Amos Kimwomi Nyaribo received a delegation from Gusii Legends Welfare Association who paid him a courtesy call at his Boardroom.

He promised to partner with them so that they could nurture local talents for sports plays a big role in the unification of a nation by bringing different communities together.
