Little Paws Montessori House

Little Paws Montessori House is an Early Childhood Center for children between 18 months and 5 years.

We provide a comprehensive program firmly based on the philosophy & methods of Dr. Maria Montessori.

Little Paws Montessori House embraces diversity and encourages children to understand the global village that we live in today. We have an integrated programme, such that when the child finishes our programme, it allows them to competitively enter preparatory/primary school of their choice.

The Montessori pedagogy is an educational approach developed by Italian physical and educator, Maria Montessori and characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits and respect for a child’s natural psychological, physical and social development.

Admissions

Little Paws Montessori House does not discriminate on the basis of race ,color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin in admission or hiring policies.

Little Paws Montessori House admits children throughout the year, subject to the space being available, from the age range 1.5 years to 6 years of age.

Parents of children interested in enrollment may call the office to secure an appointment for visit the premises in order to express their interest and ascertain the school as an ideal setting for their child. This is followed by an interview with the Head of School, where the prospective parent receives information on the school and the specific age slot.

For registration, the following documents are required:

A completed application form, together with the non-refundable application fee, and a refundable security*
Proof of immunization status form

Copy of Birth Certificate

Proof of residency (for non-Kenyan citizens)

Giving due consideration to the education curriculum that is available, we have two major intakes, in January for those joining our local system and September for those joining international curricula schools. As such, we our admission criteria has been harmonised to ensure our students are eligible for admission for primary/preparatory schools when the time comes.

We offer a host of co-curricular which include sports, horse-riding, arts and crafts and second language. Additional extra curricular activities include: Ballet, Tae-Kwon-Do, mini-tennis, LAMDA, Monkeynastix, kids gymnastics to name a few, and these are billed separately.
