We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Team Leader, Customer Service Officer reporting to the Client Services Manager, in Life & Pensions Business, and the position will be based in Nairobi.

Role Purpose

The position holder will be responsible for ensuring customers receive world class customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring all customer enquires complaints and are effectively resolved within the required turnaround time
  2. Interacting with customers as the first point of contact between the company and customers
  3. Providing other product or service information to assist customer in making a decision about the product to buy
  4. Maintains customer records by updating account information
  5. Resolves product or service problems
  6. Implement strategic initiatives to improve customer satisfaction levels and loyalty
  7. Send regular updates to customers and suggest ways of improving customer satisfaction
  8. Preparation of products and service reports
  9. Maintains strong relationships with customer

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field
  2. Professional insurance or customer service qualification such as LOMA,CII
  3. Knowledge of a standard software
  4. Knowledge of legislation governing insurance

Relevant Experience

Minimum of  two (2) years’ work experience in front office or customer service
