KNEC has successfully concluded the process of assigning personnel, including supervisors and invigilators, for the 2023 KCPE and KCSE national examinations scheduled to take place between October and November 2023.

The KCPE 2023 exams have concluded, and preparations for the marking exercise are in progress. Meanwhile, KCSE 2023 is ongoing, with the official sit-in exams commencing next tomorrow.

Here’s the good news for contracted professionals involved in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams: You can now access and download your deployment letters through the KNEC portal.

For contracted professionals, follow these steps to download your deployment letters:

  1. Log in using your credentials through the KNEC portal: https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke
  2. Navigate to the ‘Dash Board’ tab and check under ‘Deployments’ to see your assigned examination centre, duty station, and position.
  3. A table will be displayed, showing details under the ‘Exam,’ ‘Duty Station,’ ‘Position,’ and ‘Actions’ columns.
  4. Under the ‘Actions’ column, click on the ‘Download Appointment Letter’ link to retrieve your letter.
  5. Upon successful login, ensure your personal information is accurate, save it, and proceed to access, read, accept, or reject the invitation letter. After acceptance, download and print the invitation letter.

If you’ve forgotten your password or do not have one, follow these simple steps to reset it:

  1. Click on the ‘forgot password’ link.
  2. Enter your mobile phone number in the format 2547****.
  3. Click on ‘Reset Password.’
  4. You will receive new login credentials from KNEC via SMS on your phone.

Additionally, KNEC has posted the list of selected invigilators and supervisors for specific centres and schools on the school’s account in the portal. This list includes the names of contracted professionals, their positions (Centre Manager, Supervisor, or Invigilator), gender, and National Identity Card (ID) numbers.

The portal also provides details on Examination Center information, Examination Materials Distribution Center information, Distance from the Distribution Center, and the registered number of candidates.

To access the list of Knec contracted professionals:

  1. Log in to the KNEC contracted portal at https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke
  2. Enter the User Name (Starting with KCSE Centre code) and password (Specific to each centre and held by the centre manager).
  3. Input the approximate distance between the centre/school and the exam distribution centre.
  4. Log in to the centre’s account.
  5. Complete your personal information upon successful login, save it, and proceed to access, read, accept, or reject the invitation letter. After acceptance, download and print the invitation letter.
