African Conservation Centre is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the development of Africa Conservation excellence with a focus on conservation of bio-diversity eco-systems landscapes while ensuring sustainable benefits to local livelihoods of host communities.
We seek to recruit a dynamic and innovative professional to fill this position. Job Purpose Reporting to the Accountant, the accounts assistant shall be responsible for executing systems, procedures and controls of the accounting function covering the accounting policies, procedures and control, manner of record maintenance and reporting requirements. The position will be based in the Nairobi Headquarters office with occasional field travel.

Full time: 40 hours per week
Contract: 2 year fixed term
As the Marine Programme Coordinator, you will lead the Marine Programme of the BirdLife Africa Secretariat in collaboration with the BirdLife International’s Marine Programme (BIMP).
You will manage and provide strategic guidance to staff in the Africa Marine Unit and lead the development and implementation of the marine projects. You will coordinate with other BirdLife programmes to promote seabird conservation, primarily with the Invasive Alien Species and Preventing Extinctions programmes.
