Summit: IT Officer Job 2019 – Nairobi
Our client, a leading Tours and Travel Company in Kenya is seeking to recruit an IT Officer. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years in IT Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- • In charge of all our day to day hardware and software requirements including upgrades, networking, firewalls, PCI compliance and email set ups.
- • Support personnel with problems on their computer terminals, integration with Amadeus and Galileo
- • Ensure effective functioning of hardware, software packages, LAN/WAN connectivity & support to use
- • Provide ICT helpdesk services to users, focusing on achievements of timely response to user suppor
- • Support in design & development of the key business application.
- • Responsible for website/Social Media updates, i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn
- • Install & Configure software & hardware (Printer, networks cards etc)
- • Maintain licences and upgrade schedules
- • Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards & functionality.
Qualification:
- • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- • Must have a minimum of 2 years in IT Support.
- • Demonstrate knowledge of IT concepts & Software.
- • Must have a personable & pleasant personality.
- • Must have excellent communication skills.
