Note:

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has advertised promotion vacancies amounting to 36,000 vacancies.

The commission recently issued a circular in which it announced its plan to solve the issue of teacher job stagnation by promoting teachers across nine grades.

“The promotions will be spread across primary, secondary schools and teacher training colleges,” TSC said.

The commission has allotted 12,716   promotions for senior master positions, and 10,819 promotions for senior teachers in regular primary schools.

There are also 700 vacancies for senior teachers in special needs schools and 216 for senior teachers in teacher training colleges (Grade C4).

“Those interested are expected to apply for the positions by the 8th of September 2023 through the TSC portal,” TSC said.
