OkHi: MBA Internship 2019 – Data Scientist

OkHi is a Nairobi based startup that’s on a mission to enable the 4 billion people without a physical address to, “be included”. We are building the next generation of a physical addressing system in order to unlock commerce through better logistics, save lives through improved emergency services and grow access to finance through a better identity system.
You will join our world class team and be responsible for launching OkHi to 100s of businesses and millions of consumers across Kenya and other emerging markets. What You Will Be Doing
- Quality assure our data analytics pipeline, data payloads, & the data we collect
- Recommend improvements to our data pipeline methodology
- Support internal teams to pull business and product insights from all the data we collect
Requirements
- Pursuing, or completed a Masters degree
- Strong communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Experience with data analytics, business intelligence tools (Kibana, Tableau, Excel, Amplitude, etc)
- You are a good programmer and have experience with general purpose programming languages
- Able to apply Machine Learning algorithms
