MMUST: 2019 BioPhysics Conference
The Conference provides a platform for scholars with interest in Biophysics to share knowledge and skills in Biophysics critical for Diversified Technological and industrial development besides being a networking forum for Biophysicists, researchers, professionals and policy makers.

Biophysics is the study of physical phenomena and physical processes in living things, on scales spanning molecules, cells, tissues and organisms. Biophysicists use the principles and methods of physics to understand biological systems. Biophysics has become core in worldwide scientific research and development forming grounding for sustainable economic and industrial progress. However, the universality of Biophysics has been impeded by lack of adequate attention, publicity, personnel and infrastructure in Africa. It is important to raise awareness for Biophysics in Kenya and Africa at large. As a start, we have recognition from the Biophysical society (https://www.biophysics.org/). This conference aims at bringing together representatives in industries, academia, researchers, policy makers and young scholars to a two-day event on exploring Biophysics Diversity for Sustainable Industrial and Economic Development.

• Applications of Biophysics in Health and Industry: Focus Medicine, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics grounding researchers with concepts and application of new techniques in addressing biomedical, industrial and health challenges.
• Agricultural Biophysical applications/Agro-physics
• Mathematical and Physical Modelling of Biological Processes
