BACKGROUND
The World Bank estimates nearly 800 million people live in extreme poverty globally; most of them are found in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. It is hoped that through the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda, the world shall provide better service for her people. The extent to which this will be achieved shall depend on how leaders in various sectors transformatively prioritize sectors of the economy and address emerging challenges. Through paper presentations, plenary discusions and case studies among others, this conference shall provide a multi-sectoral fora and platform for scholars, industrialists, policy makers and consultants to interact and come up with practice oriented and ethical solutions that shall spur sustainable development in developing countries.
