Ezekiel Machogu, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, has introduced a revised grading system for the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) ahead official release of Exams On Thursday 21st December 2023.Kcse grading system 2023
In this updated scheme, the mean grade will be determined based on only two compulsory subjects: Mathematics and one language (English, Kiswahili, or Kenyan Sign Language).
Kcse grading system 2023. Machogu highlighted the change from the previous system, which required five mandatory subjects across three clusters. The new grading system takes into account specific subjects and educational levels.
The Grade system Depends on Certain subjects and Education levels.
