KCPE 2022 EXAMINATION TIMETABLE AND INSTRUCTIONS
-Time allowed for each paper is shown against the name of the paper and NO EXTRA TIME IS TO BE ALLOWED.
-N/B The time for reading through questions is part of the time indicated on the question paper except where special paper instructions indicate otherwise. The assigned supervisors and invigilators should make sure that the bonafide candidates are issued with personalized mark sheets that bear their correct names and index numbers
The Kenyan Sign Language Papers should be undertaken only by candidates with (HI) Hearing Impairement.
INSTRUCTIONS TO INVIGILATORS &SUPERVISORS
The council (KNEC) assignes supervisors and invigilators with the responsibility of informing all the candidates of the Examination instructions and guidelines. They should as well ensure that the candidates are issued with individualized answer sheets that have their correct index numbers and names.
KNEC Guidelines and Instructions to Teachers
The Council has advised teachers to ensure that the candidates clearly understand the instructions given and are aware of the penalties for examination irregularities or misconduct.
The following Instructions Must be Followed to the letter by the Candidates:
Candidates should be outside the examination room ready for frisking 15 minutes before the time scheduled for the paper. Morning sessions will start at 8.30 a.m
A candidate who arrives late will be required to give a satisfactory reason to the supervisor in charge. A paper can only be given to a candidate more than half an hour late only in exceptional circumstances.
Candidates must ensure that they have written their names and index numbers correctly on the answer sheet.
Candidates must ensure that each page of the question paper is printed.
You are not allowed to leave the examination room before the end of the period allocated to the paper except with special permission from the Supervisor. NO CANDIDATE SO PERMITTED TO LEAVE MAY TAKE A QUESTION PAPER OR ANSWER SHEET/SCRIPT OUT OF THE EXAMINATION ROOM.
Do not leave a sheet of paper you have written on or your answers in such a position that another candidate can read them. You should not give or obtain unfair assistance, or attempt to do so, whether by copying or in any other way, and your work should not show proof of such unfair assistance.
Candidates are not allowed to communicate among themselves or with outsiders during the examination.
