Dedan Kimathi University of Technology Reporting Dates DeKUT – Opening Dates

On behalf of the University Management, I take this opportunity to send New Year greetings. It is our prayer that you are taking care of yourself by adhering to the Ministry of Health guidelines on prevention of COVID-19 infection.

As you well know, the University resumed normal operations on 4th January 2021. Before the inter-semester break, we circulated the semester schedules for the various cohorts which indicate how the groups will progress. With this memo I would like to point out the
following:

a) That during this semester, the University will utilize blended teaching and learning approaches as advised by the Government. In most lectures you will be expected to appear physically in the lecture room. However, you might have a number of lectures taking place online; but that will depend on the Department/Institute and the unit.

b) That all students are expected to be around the campus.

c) That both students and staff are expected to adhere to the Ministry of Health Guidelines on prevention of the spread of corona virus.
