Job Summary
The Head of Maintenance will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement as needed of Greenblade facilities and infrastructure which includes but is not limited to buildings, fences, greenhouses, irrigation and all their appliances, equipment, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities
- Plan, budget and schedule maintenance jobs that include cost estimates and scope of work.
- Manage and inspect construction work and installation progress to ensure conformance to standards and schedule
- Set up and maintain preventative/predictive maintenance program for all buildings and infrastructure and systems, along with regular inspection of all machines and equipment.
- Manages all company owned vehicles, tractors, backhoe
- Manage staff working in various units within the department including technicians, drivers and general workers
- Manage contractors engaged to undertake construction, installation and maintenance work
Job Requirements
Required education: Diploma, Associate’s degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
