The Cabinet Secretary for Education Prof George Magoha has revealed that the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) will be done within the next two weeks.

CS Magoha was speaking in Nairobi on Wednesday and supervised the distribution of social and religious studies where he revealed that the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has already started marking the Mathematics and English papers which were done on Monday.

“Marking of the examination papers had started and results will be out at the same just like last year,” said Prof George Magoha.

KCPE 2021 was released two weeks after the last paper was done.

The Ministry of Education has also warned teachers and candidates against using mobile phones in examination rooms.

Those found cheating will also face the full force of the law.

“The examination has run smoothly so far and we applaud teachers for being so committed during this examination period,” said Prof George Magoha.
