University of Nairobi 1st Annual Development for Finance Conference Call for Papers 2019

The 1st Annual Development for Finance Conference, hosted by the School of Business, University of Nairobi, brings together academics, policy makers, doctoral students and practitioners from around the world to present research, network and collaborate.

The conference theme is “Finance for Sustainable Development.”

The topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:

  • Capital Formation in developing country markets
  • Development Finance systems, markets and instruments
  • Digital Finance services (DFS) and Ecosystems
  • External aid, trade and development
  • Financing Sustainable Development; Environmental Finance, Agricultural value chain finance,

  • Financial Development Pyramid Index
  • Financial Markets Integration and Microstructure
  • Foreign Direct Investments, Country Risk Analysis, Government incentives and Subsidies
  • Public Finance and Development; Financing social development goals, Financing Big 4 Agenda,

SUBMISSION DETAILS

The call for the submission of full papers or position papers for review is now open. A position paper should be a maximum of 4 pages in which the authors present their research, preliminary results, challenges, describe their approach and how it embeds theories, methods and techniques from various approaches of research.Submit your full papers or position papers in English, on or before August 25th, 2019 preferably in MS Word to: editoradfj@uonbi.ac.ke

REVIEW PROCESS

Submissions will be reviewed and selected by the conference committee led by the conference conveners. Based on accepted submissions the conveners will form an expert panel by including fellow acknowledged international researchers.

Notification of acceptance: 25 September 2019

Full papers: 30 September 2019
Registration deadline: 30 September 2019
