University of Embu for the information of the general public, applicants, parents and guardians that Intakes has for the admission of prospective applicants into various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2020/2021 academic year.
The University of Embu (UoEm) Academic Year presently begins in September of each calendar year and ends in August of the subsequent year. The Academic Year comprises two semesters and one trimester each lasting for sixteen (16) weeks.
The first semester begins in September and ends in December while the second semester begins in January of the subsequent year and ends in April.
The third semester (trimester) begins in May and ends in August of the same year. Besides the semester based Academic Year, the University also operates a part time (Institutional, Evening and Weekends) based Academic Year for students.
UoEm offers various programmes at Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors’, Masters and Doctoral level. In addition, UoEm offers short term courses, seminars, field days and practical demonstrations in modern farming methods in order to cater for farmers’ requirements.
