Sunshine Secondary School was started on 14th February 1995 by our late former President, His Excellency Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi who was also the Patron of the school. It was his desire that he establishes a Christian Boys boarding school in Nairobi, which would be a Centre of excellence.
We aim to always be a leading Christian institution in Africa, providing academic Excellence and Sound Character Formation.

The goal of the admissions process is to ease your child’s entry into Sunshine Secondary School and to welcome your whole family into the Sunshine Secondary school community.
We accept students throughout the year and strongly encourage parents to apply as early as possible. Please note that in order to speed up the decision of acceptance, it is important to submit all the required documents. An application review will only begin after a complete application is submitted. The student must also complete our school’s assessment prior to a confirmed acceptance.
Our academic school year runs from early January through early December; the first term ends early April, second term starts in May through to early August and the last term commences in September to early December.
