Electrical & Electronic Engineering
We currently offer the following courses at our department
- Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power option)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (instrumentation and control)
- Craft in Electrical Engineering.
- Electrical Installation Artisan.
- Short courses in solar installation.

Electrical and Electronics career prospects
In order to achieve vision 2030 and beyond, the country will need to improve power generation and use or reusable energy sources. with this in mind, our trainees can can be employed in ever growing, Electrical and electronics industry ranging from Electricity Producers such as KenGen, Oserian Power , Through Transmitting Companies like Ketraco, Rea Oserian to distribution companies like Kenya Power and the likes in the private sector. furthermore, our graduates can also work in industries or the private sector as electricians.
Mechanical & Automotive Engineering
Trainees from the department can be employed in ever growing construction industry, and civil Engineering industry. potential employers include real estate development companies, building and construction companies, ministry of works, Kenya National Highways Authority, Standard Gauge Railway Project. graduates can also pursue careers in research institutions or further their studies in building and civil engineering in higher institutions.
Career Prospectus
Trainees from the department can be employed in ever growing automotive industry, transport, automobile sales, service industry, Production and Industrial plants, welding and fabrication industry and related areas.
