Operation of the computers and the network, supervision of lab equipment and facilities, keeping records of equipment and lab supplies, and maintaining the security of the lab.

Assist students in the lab by demonstrating the proper use of the equipment and how to use the hardware and software to finish assignments.

Provide assistance if any system or technical problems arise such as, clearing paper jams in printers and copiers, refilling ink toners and supplying paper, the computer lab technician may be called to so.

Responsible for the cleanliness of the lab to ensure safety and proper working conditions for the lab users and proper maintenance of the computers.

Prepare the computer lab schedule, provide backup of software and perform equipment repairs or arrange for repairs to be completed.

Responsible for preparing the budget of the lab for requisition purposes and researching on purchasing replacement equipment.

Perform tests on the system and equipment to ensure that every component of the lab working properly

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Gather, collect and analyze financial data and reports to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of funds utilization.

Assess compliance with regulations and guidelines in the University.

Carry out audit checks and verification of payments.

Undertake spot-checks.

Undertake special audit investigations.

Interpret financial audit policies for sound auditing principles/ practices.

Provide input in the implementation audit fieldwork strategy.

Provide input in the implementation annual audit work plans.

Conduct post audit reviews.

Perform such other duties as shall be assigned or delegated from time to tim
