The newly released Knec Reporting Dates for KCSE 2022 Knec Examiners are as follows
1. Chief examiners- December 21, 2022
2. Assistant Chief examiners-December 21, 2022
3. Team leaders for all subjects- December 26, 2022
4. Examiners for All Subjects- January 2, 2023

In a nutshell
Knec had earlier revoked all KCSE marking invitation letters uploaded to its website.
According to the newly uploaded Knec KCSE examiners’ invitation letters, Chief examiners and assistant chief examiners engaged in coordination of the marking schemes will report on December 21, 2022. This, therefore, means that they will not have the privilege of sharing and celebrating Christmas with their kith and kin.
Subject team leaders on the other hand will not celebrate the new year since they have been directed to report on December 26, 2022.
Knec Sets New Reporting Dates for KCSE Examiners
Unlike previous years, the Kenya National Examinations Council Knec has set new reporting dates for KCSE examiners.
The reporting date for all KCSE 2022 examiners has now been changed to January 2, 2023.
Chief examiners and assistant chief examiners who will oversee the coordination of marking schemes for all the subjects will report on December 21.
A Knec official directed the teachers to check the portal on Friday.
“All the examiners’ letters recalled by Knec. If you had downloaded please redo it again tomorrow,” the official told teachers on their Whatsapp platform.
The officials contracted by Knec to oversee the KCPE exam will be paid between Sh695 and Sh405 each day.
The officials include centre managers (principals and head teachers), supervisors, invigilators, and security personnel.
Centre managers will take home Sh2,000, supervisors Sh2,485, invigilators Sh1,615, security officers Sh 1,050, and drivers Sh1,040.
The rates are per day.KCSE supervisors in Nairobi and Mombasa will take home Sh695 while those in other regions get Sh630 a day.
