Kenya Methodist University Medical School
The training of health professionals was one of the dreams of the founders of Kenya Methodist University. The dream came true in 2004 with the founding of the School of Health Sciences and later expanded to become the School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
It can be classified as one of the best medical schools in Kenya. The mission of the school is to prepare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of a competent health expert who is able to work in an increasingly complex environment.
Currently, the school consists of five departments on the main campus in Meru and two departments on the campus in Nairobi. The medical courses offered include medicine and surgery, nursing, nutrition and dietetics of humans, health care and medical laboratory science..

Kenya Methodist University Medical School Minimum Admission Requirements
1. Undergraduate Programmes: KCSE C+ (plus) or equivalent qualifications
2. Postgraduates Programmes: Masters: At least a Bachelor’s degree; 2nd class (upper division) or its equivalent from a recognized University
3. Diploma Programmes: KCSE C (plain) or its equivalent qualifications
4. Certificate Programmes: KCSE C- (minus) or its equivalent qualifications
