The CS Education has confirmed that the process of releasing the 2021-2022 KCPE results is on since 2022 KCPE examiners are winding up the marking process this week.

Anticipating the release of the 2022 KCPE results are KCPE candidates who sat for the 2021 examinations this March.

KCPE Results Performance Analysis Report 2022

The CS Education Professor George Magoha is expected to formally release the results next week starting Monday. Some of the key Statistics that are likely to be enumerated encompass KCPE Top 15 candidates and their schools, KCPE Performance Analysis per County and the Top 10 KCPE Special Needs Education, SNE Candidates.

In 2021, the best Special Needs Candidate Brian Otundo garnered 420 out of the total 500 marks.

2020 KCPE performance was commendable. Releasing the examination results on 15th/April/2021, Cabinet Secretary for Education Prof.Magoha congratulated the class of 2020 KCPE for their commendable performance besides the prevailing circumstances of COVID-19.

2020 KCPE Statistics (Summary)

49.3% (588,742) of girls sat for the exam, 50.7%(590,742) were boys. 

The total number of pupils that sat the 2020 KCPE examination was 1,179,232. There was an increase of 95,000 pupils who sat 2020 KCPE examination compared to the 2019 KCPE.

20 Counties registered more female candidates than male candidates.

28,460 examination centers were used.

There was an improvement in general results of 2020 KCPE compared to 2019 KCPE results though the first candidate dropped slightly compared to 2019.

In this year’s results, more candidates scored better compared to 2019.

It is important to note that 10 out of 15 best candidates are from Public Schools.
