Karatina University Reporting Date – The Karatina University has released its reporting and opening dates for 2021/2022 academic sessions, newly admitted and returning students are to take note.

Karatina University Reporting Dates – Opening Dates
REPORTING DATES FOR FIRST SEMESTER, 2021/2022 ACADEMIC YEAR
The University Senate during 97th Regular Meeting held on 21st July 2021 approved the following reporting dates for First Semester of 2021/2022 Academic Year. Students are advised to take note of the following:
- University Learning activity for the First Semester (2021/2022) will be on blended mode following Presidential Directive on Covid-19 Pandemic.
- First Years of 2021/2022 Academic Year will report on 23rd August 2021; iii) First Years of 2020/2021 Academic Year who reported late to the University and did not sit for First Semester Examinations will report on 23rd August 2021 to commence First Semester Studies. These students will need to make own prior non-residence accommodation arrangements before reporting.
- Second, Third and Fourth Year students except those in Bachelor of Science in Nursing will report on 4th October 2021.
The University will issue First Semester (2021/2022) Timelines in due course to respective groups of students. All students are further advised to keep track of University activities by constant accessing the University website and Respective Departments Communications Notices.
2) Students will be required to report with the following mandatory documents for verification:
- Admission letter
- Original KCPE Certificate
- Original KCSE Certificate or Result Slip
- National Identity Card/where applicable
- Bank Fee Payment Slip.

3) Students are advised to have a lap top computer for ease of accessing e-resources and receiving online communication within the University for academic purposes.
