ICT Fire and Rescue Training

Corporate Team Building

Our team building exercises consist of a variety of tasks designed to develop group members and their ability to work together effectively.

There are many types of team building activities that range from sports, to problem solving exercises that involve novel complex tasks and are designed for specific needs and to assist teams in becoming cohesive units of individuals that can effectively work together to complete tasks.

Community Awareness

We are actively involved in Community Fire Safety campaigns both at local and national level focusing more attention one ducation, raising awareness among the most vulnerable people within the community in order to reduce the suffering caused by fires and other emergencies.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support – ACLS

ICT FIRE & RESCUE ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING

Target Audience: Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics
• Key changes in advanced cardiovascular life support, reflecting the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
• Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device and use of an (AED)
• Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
• Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
• Airway management
• Related pharmacology
• Management of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and stroke
• Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
• Effective Resuscitation Team Dynamics

Trainees will undergo both a written and performance based evaluation.

Basic Life Support -BLS

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) TRAINING

Basic Life Support(BLS)
Target Audience: All health care providers
• Key changes in basic life support, reflecting the new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
• Critical conceptualization of high-quality and effective CPR
• 1 and 2-rescuer AED and CPR for infant, child and adult
• Chain of Survival
• Rescue techniques and their differences for infant, child and adult
• Rescue breathing for infant, child and adult
• Bag-mask techniques and procedures for infant, child and adult
• CPR including advanced airway
• Choking relief for infant, child and adult

Trainees will undergo both a written and performance-based evaluation.
Trainees who successfully complete the course will be awarded an American Heart Association BLS Certificate (valid for 2 years)
Training Duration is only 1 Day.

First Aid Training

First aid is emergency care provided for injury or sudden illness before emergency medical treatment is available. The first-aid provider in the workplace is someone who is trained in the delivery of initial medical emergency procedures, using a limited amount of equipment to perform a primary assessment and intervention while awaiting arrival of emergency medical service (EMS) personnel.

A workplace first-aid program is part of a comprehensive safety
and health management system that includes the following four
essential elements

  • Management Leadership and Employee Involvement
  • Worksite Analysis
  • Hazard Prevention and Control
  • Safety and Health Training

ICT Fire and Rescue creates a world class First Aid Training environment through; Designing and implementing a workplace first-aid program that:

  • Aims to minimize the outcome of accidents or exposures
  • Complies with OSHA requirements relating to first aid
  • Includes sufficient quantities of appropriate and readily accessible first-aid supplies and first-aid equipment, such as bandages and automated external defibrillators.
  • Assigns and trains first-aid providers who:
    receive first-aid training suitable to the specific workplace
    receive periodic refresher courses on first-aid skills and
    knowledge.

Fire Safety Training

Basic Fire Fighting Course

This course is designed for persons who may have to use an extinguisher in offices, shops, hotels and industrial premises, equipping them with an understanding of the hazards of fire complete with practical hands-on training on real live fire situations of how to react in the event of fire or emergency.

They will learn about the theory of combustion and causes of fire and the way to fight fire, including the types and correct use of fire extinguishers. Candidates will use a Live Fire Training to learn how to use fire extinguishers correctly and safely.

The Fire Safety Course is a one day course carried out in your workplace to reduce downtime or at the college premises. All course material, handouts and extinguishers are provided for a maximum of 25 candidates.

Accommodation and catering facilities are also available at the college for those who wish to train at ICT.
