2023 FORM ONE SELECTION TO NATIONAL SCHOOLS

According to the Ministry of Education, the number of students who will be admitted to national schools will rise next year.

The Ministry of Education will be obliged to raise the number of students joining national schools in 2023 due to Kenya’s new education policy-100% transition

In 2019, national schools admitted 29, 000 students but due to the higher number of KCPE candidates this year, the Education CS Professor George Magoha will be forced to increase the admission to these schools.

HERE IS THE 2023 FORM ONE SELECTION SYSTEM FOR NATIONAL SCHOOLS

National schools are ranked the highest in Kenya.

This is because they are well equipped with learning resources that facilitate smooth learning.

Unlike County, extra-county and sub-county secondary schools, national schools are few hence paving the way for a stiff competition for KCPE candidates wishing to join them.

Selection is usually done online through the Ministry of Education.

Many of them are well-equipped with teaching and learning facilities hence promoting conducive learning.

After the release of this year’s KCPE exam results, parents, guardians or candidates will be expected to log into the Ministry of Education’s website and download their form one admission letters.
