Cytonn Investments is an alternative investment manager, with a captive real estate development capability. Cytonn has a unique strategy of coupling two compelling demand areas – the lack of high yielding investment products and the lack of institutional grade real estate. We distribute high yielding instruments to attract funding from investors, and we deploy that funding to investment grade, well planned and comprehensive real estate developments that are largely pre-sold.
Real estate investments are made through our development affiliate, Cytonn Real Estate, where we currently have over Kshs. 82 billion (USD 820 mn) of projects under mandate across ten projects. In private equity, we invest in banking, FinTech, and hospitality.
To manage the process of developing a product or enhancing existing products in order to meet customer expectations efficiently. Product Developers conduct research, develop proposals, manage stakeholders and pursue buisness development intiatives to help push developed products. The position will afford the individuals a unique opportunity to participate in both a strong incentive structure and a clear path to a fulfilling career in Product Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Opportunity Mapping – Build business cases, Product Portfolio and Scenario planning for all product initiatives, and enhance current products with a focus on monetization and market
- Recommend new products or improvement through online research and client engagement sessions
- Drive product engagement, and stakeholder and regulators’ communication
- Member Drive – continuous seeking membership growth for different products
- Stay on top of market trends, product positioning, successes and competition and recommend appropriate actions based on analysis
- Conduct client satisfaction analysis on product on behalf of the respective department
- Assist with general queries and requests from client, consultants and internal groups
- Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
- Engage with different stakeholder departments at the management level with the purpose of implementing the identified solution
- Any other duties as shall be assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have achieved at least a B+ or equivalent in high school
- An undergraduate degree with a minimum 2nd Class, Upper Division
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow data entry/department standards
- Keen organization and problem solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks to completion with minimal directions
