Courses Offered at Mcensal School of Fashion & Design

Our courses are based on practical methods, not exam based. Teaching is intensive and supportive, combining a high proportion of face-to-face sessions with state-of-the-art learning facilities and an industry internship. This progressive approach enables tutors to monitor students’ progress regularly and to deliver effective and constant feedback that is vital to ensure successful learning outcomes.

The courses at Mcensal School of Fashion & Design are uniquely crafted to provide a thorough understanding and practical appreciation of the operational realities of the industry.  The courses are as follows:

Short course in Fashion Design: Three months

This is a part time certificate course that involves an intense learning period. Its tailor made for people who can only be available in the evening.

The courses are in the following units:

  • Fashion illustration & Idea generation
  • Pattern Drafting
  • Clothing Construction
  • Textile Exploration
  • Fabric manipulation
  • Fashion Business

This course run for three months Monday to Friday from 5.30pm to 7.30 pm.

The certificate is an in house.

Edexcel BTEC level 3 Diploma: 1 Year Full time course

The Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Fashion and Clothing is a 60 credit and 360 guided learning hours (GLH) qualification.

Edexcel BTEC level 5 Higher National Diploma: 3 Year Full time course

The Edexcel BTEC Higher National Diplomas Level 5 Diploma in Fashion and Design is a 240 credits and 960 guided Learning hours (GLH) qualification.
