Major general Kibwana served between the years of 2000 to 2005 and he held several ranks before he became the chief of defence.
5) General Jeremiah Kianga.
He served between 2005 to 2011 and he served so as a diplomatic staff, defence atache and other several ranks.
6) Gen Julius Waweru Karangi
General Julius Karangi is well known to many people amd he served as the CDF between 2011 to 2015.
7) General Mwathethe.
General Mwathethe was appointed the chief of defence in 2015 and served upto 2020 and handed over to general Kibochi who is the current CDF.
8) General Robert Kibochi
He was officially inaugurated a sthe chief of defence this year 2020 taking over from Mwathethe.
