With the world’s improved technology, it’s now easy to make private calls and hide your number from people. This can be easily done through your Android device or iOS.
Private numbers are mostly used when you are up to a mission and most people will always not receive such calls because they have the narrative that they are associated with crime.
How To Call Private Number In Kenya
1) On Android and iOS, when you want to make a private number call, you first open the phone settings, then go to “tap phone”, after that, go to “show my caller ID” then tap the “toggle switch ” to show your caller ID.
2) When using the Android Smartphone, just open the phone app, then
tap on the 10 dots/menu. Go to settings below the menu, and then a number of settings will pop up. Scroll down, go to ” More settings”, then “additional settings”.
Press on “show called ID” then tap the “hide number” option.
3) When Using a Kenyan Code. – Prefix
Each and every country in the world has a specific code that they can use to make private calls if need be. These codes are always given out by the Communication Authority of Kenya.(CAK) .
In Kenya, we have a code #31# that is used to make private calls.
This is a prefix inserted before the number. For example, if you want to make private calls, just dial #31#070………. then press on call. The call will go to the receiver as a private number/ Unknown call.
It’s advisable that you use private calls/ Unknown Calls only if necessary because private calls irritate most people and can even bring them fear for their lives if the person is an influential person.
