Rescued orphan elephants are offered sanctuary at our Nursery where they receive require round-the-clock milk feeds, nurturing keepers,s and veterinary care. By adopting an orphan in our care, you can help the Trust ensure the survival of these fragile babies and, best of all, help these animals one day return to the wild where they belong.
Why do elephants need your help?
Elephants are endangered and face an existential threat from habitat loss and poaching. Only 450,000 animals remain across Africa and these animals are under pressure from agricultural development, roads, and railways. The result? Elephants are under threat like never before.
We have worked in the field in Kenya for over 40 years to save iconic species like elephants and rhinos. Today we fund veterinary treatments to save injured elephants, protect critical habitats, and patrol to stop poachers.
We also educate communities about the importance of wildlife and we rescue orphaned calves that would not survive without their mothers or herds. By adopting an orphan elephant, you’ll help us save endangered elephants and secure their habitats for the future.
How much is entry to elephant orphanage Kenya?
The Entry Fee is Kshs 1500/- (US$15) per person 12 years and above, and Kshs 500/- (US$5) for those under 12 years of age. Visiting timings are 11 am to 12 pm daily ( 1 hour). As the orphanage lies on the outskirts of Nairobi city, off Langata road, it is advisable to allow for enough time to get here.
