Minimum Candidature and Equitable Requirements:

Institutions are notified that a minimum of 30 candidates is required for them to host the examinations.

For institutions with candidates between 10 and 29, they are advised to identify a nearby public institution for hosting, while institutions with less than ten candidates must transfer their candidates to another institution.

The circular also emphasizes that courses offered by other institutions locally are not equitable to those offered by KNEC.

Uploading of Registration Data and Fees Payment:

Institutions must upload the registration data by the specified dates, and registration materials and fees remittance documents must be submitted to the Council by the Head of the Institution or their nominee.

The circular clarifies that online transmission and fee payments do not constitute complete registration, and Heads of Institutions are responsible for ensuring accurate and complete data.

Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET) Courses:

The circular outlines the entry requirements for various TVET courses, which vary based on the level and type of course being offered.

Specific entry requirements for Artisan, Certificate, Diploma, and Higher Diploma courses are detailed.

For BTEP examinations, candidates must meet the minimum examination entry requirements specified for each course.

The circular provides instructions for Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) registration and prerequisite KNEC Diplomas for HRM registration.
