We are seeking highly motivated professionals to fill the following positions:

1. ADMINISTRATION AND HR MANAGER – VACANCY CODE HRM23

This position will be reporting to the DVC(AFD). The main responsibilities include; Coordinate the formulation of Human resource strategy and policy development in line with set business plans and objectives, Ensure the University attracts, develops and retains best talent in the industry and align them to the business strategy to deliver the mission and vision of the University, Coordinate facility maintenance and ensure safety of the University’s infrastructure and assets including third party services, Ensure smooth transport system, is custodian of legal contracts and insurance services for the smooth operation of the University in line with policies, processes and procedures to achieve overall University strategy.

Job requirements:

At least a Master’s degree in Administration or Human Resource Management or equivalent. Professional Qualifications such as a higher Diploma or postgraduate Diploma in Administration or Human Resource Management. Full member of IHRM with a practicing certificate.

Relevant experience of at least 10 years of productive experience in Administration and Human Resource Management in senior management, preferably at a university setting.


2. ACADEMIC REGISTRAR – VACANCY CODE AR22

This position will be reporting to the DVC(AA&R). The main responsibilities include; Provide leadership to the entire department including admissions and student records, examinations and time tabling, Coordinate administration of all student records, new semester registrations and all matriculation functions, Organize and administer graduation functions, transcript evaluations and accreditation certifications, Provide maximum service to students while ensuring efficient and effective workflow, Responsible for the submission of academic programmes to the Commission for University Education and the implementation of the Commission’s guidelines, Supervise the coordination, evaluation and certification of all graduands.

Job Requirement:

The suitable candidate will be required to have an earned PhD in a relevant academic field from a recognized university and have university level administrative experience of for at least 5 years or have served for at least 3 years as a Deputy Registrar in a recongnised university. Holders of Senior Lecturer position and above will have added advantage.

S/he will be required to be thoroughly competent in education administration and matters touching on university students life.

The person must be self motivated and have positive attitude, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work successfully in a team with culturally diverse populations, ability to maintain confidentiality of information and work calmly under pressure.

Proficiency in oral and written communication and relevant computer software is required.
