Primary Education is one of the most critical stages in Kenyan Education system. It is at this stage in Education that the foundation is set for future careers of each student/learner. The success of this stage mainly depends on the stakeholders of every learning institution. A primary school teacher plays a critical role as a stakeholder in shaping the lives of primary school students/learners. As a role model, a primary school teacher must be well equipped through training to impact positive transformation in the lives of students.
Baraton College offers efficient, effective, affordable and relevant Primary Teacher training through Primary Teacher Education (PTE) programme. This programme is offered both as Regular and School-based in all the Campuses making it convenient for everyone to access. Due to the competitive nature of the programme, applicants are advised to apply early enough to secure the limited number of chances available during each intake. PTE is examined by KNEC and graduands are absorbed immediately by Teacher Service Commission (TSC) and primary schools countrywide.
