Marist International University College Entry Requirement
This is a two-year intensive course that combines academics with spiritual growth and transformation. Upon successfully completing the course programme and the required practical experience, candidates will be awarded a Master’s degree by the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Such graduates will be equipped to facilitate healing and give counseling support to pastoral agents and the generality of Christian faithful suffering from depression, trauma, confusion, burn-out, mid-life crisis, addiction, sexual abuse, and crisis on account of sudden loses or life transitions. They could also serve as Counselors and Spiritual Directors in Catholic Institutions and Formation Houses.

The Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Development Studies is uniquely designed as a comprehensive and interdisciplinary programme to enhance development administration and practice in the 22nd century in line with current and future National and International Development goals. It is rooted in the twin socio-economic pillar and good governance pillar of development as strategic, developmental theoretical framework, life skills which are critical in empowering individual student’s to play a leading role in development process of society. It also captures policy issues in development, action plans to spur development in Africa, unethical practices that impact negatively on development of society. The programme in addition encompasses all useful concepts and principles of practical and strategic effective approaches to management of development resources and development projects.
It aims to produce highly motivated human resources who are guided by Christian values to work with governments at all levels of development and NGOS involved in development, humanitarian operation projects and self-help group work to sustain livelihoods.
