KCA University Work Study Program Vacancies 2019

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Complete appropriate KCAU-WSP application procedures (the WSP Application form can be FILLED from the KCA University website).
  •  Must have been a KCA University student for at least one Semester in which case documentary evidence of results of the said semester must be attached to the application form.
  •  Must have passed during the last semester on session as provided for in the KCAU-WSP policy (the policy can be downloaded from the University website) KCAU-WSP policy
  •  Must have registered for the semester for which application has been made.
  •  Must exhibit positive attitude to work and highlight relevant skills possessed.
  • Clearance note from the KCA University Registrar confirming he/she has never been involved in any disciplinary matter or has never appeared before the student disciplinary committee of the University for any Offence.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To support the Front desk functions of the enrollment department of KCAU Town Campus. We want the right person with wonderful customer service to be the right assistance for a variety of functions at the front desk. Training will be provided as necessary.​

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide prospective students with relevant information on courses.
  2. Answering incoming phone call and making outgoing calls to clients as necessary.
  3. Maintaining an up to dateonline log of enquiries and follow up customer calls where necessary.
  4. Handling basic information on specific program enquiries, and/or forwarding, emailing.
  5. Keeping the Enrolment office and front desk clean and ensure proper filing of documents as required.
  6. Assist with data entry and management.
  7. Participate in external and internal marketing activities
  8. Assist in campus visits and orientation during  intake.
  9. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must!
  • Ability to work on digital phone system after training, have a friendly voice,
  • Ability to gather important information from the customer on the other endand retain necessary details of the call, and be able to answer basic details for the enquiries being made.
  • Keep excellent and up to datelog on all incoming calls, and records of any outgoing calls.
  • Complete follow-through, with forwarding, emailing, or calling in a timely manner.
  • Ability to give extra effort to make sure customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal.
  • Other must haves include: Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, honest, positive and basic computer literacy

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a KCAU student pursuing any course OR has completed course work.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Office preferably Word and excel
  • Good data entry and typing skills
