CREDENTIALS AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

On admission day, you should bring the following:

Letter of admission

Original and two photocopies of your identity card

Original and two photocopies of our K.C.S.E certificate/results slip

Original and two photocopies of your school leaving certificate

Original and two photocopies of your birth certificate

Three (3) passport size photographs (taken within the last three months)

One spring file

3. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Bring duly completed medical examination certificate signed by a medical doctor from Government/Mission Hospital.

4. PERSONAL EFFECTS

You are required to bring the following:

Adequate personal clothing

2 pairs of bed sheet and 2 blankets

A bath towel, Mosquito net , a spoon and a cup

Bucket, bath and laundry soaps

Mattress 6ft x 2 ½ feet 3 inches

6. RULES AND REGULATIONS

Attached is a copy of the rules and regulations. You are required to sign the declaration form to indicate your willingness to adhere strictly to all rules and regulations pertaining to students of Baringo Technical College.

7. PROGRESS DURING TRAINING

Performance in training is continuously assessed and students should maintain good grades .You will be examined at various stages and you must obtain an overall minimum of “pass” to be allowed to continue to the next stage. Copies of Academic Policy are available in the Library.

8. COLLEGE MEALS

The college provides one menu at any given meal time and does not provide special diet.

9. COLLEGE FEES

10. MODE OF PAYMENT

The fees should be paid in total by bankers cheque or postal money order payable to Baringo Technical College (Note cash will not be accepted). You may deposit the money directly into our account

11. ACCOMODATION

Accommodation is optional and available at Ksh.7, 500/= or

The college is located 5 kilometres from Kabarnet Town , along Kabarnet –Tenges Road at Kapsoo
