United States International University Africa Fees Structure For 2021/2022 Academic Year

Here is the United States International University Africa Fees Structure for 2021 Academic Session.

All freshly admitted students of the United States International University Africa are advised to pay their tuition fees for the 2021/2022 academic session early to the designated banks as approved by the management of the School.

Fees Structure – East Africa

Non-East Africans will pay 30% above local rates for tuition and all mandatory charges i.e. tuition, Library,Medical and student activity fees.

Fees are subject to an annual review.

Project / Thesis: Graduate students are required to be continuously enrolled during every semester while their thesis / Project remains incomplete.

In the first semester, the project/thesis is charged as a full three (3) unit graduate course, while the two (2)subsequent terms are charged at 50% of the tuition. Other charges remain the same.

If the project / thesis extends beyond the third term, then tuition reverts to full charge.

If you are paying in US$ note that: USD Exchange Rates are fixed every semester for non-east Africans, while the rate varies daily for East Africans

Cheque and Visa Card Payments

  • The modes of payment below must be presented to the cash office for receipting
  • Bankers Cheques
  • Personal cheques.
  • All major Credit cards/Visa Debit Cards.

Card Payments

You can also pay at the USIU-Africa Finance Office using your Credit and/or Visa Card. We accept: JCB Card, Master Card,Visa Card and Visa Electron (Debit Card).
You will be required to give the following information:

  1. Card Number
  2. Names of the Card holder, and
  3. Expiry Date

Mobile Money payments (M-PESA)

  1. Go to SAFARICOM menu and select ‘M-PESA’
  2. Choose ‘Lipa na M-Pesa’ and select ‘Pay Bill’
  3. Enter USIU-Africa’s Business Number: 516900
  4. Enter Account Number: Student ID Number and/or Names
  5. Enter ‘Exact Amount to pay’
  6. Enter ‘PIN Number’ and Press ‘OK’

Kindly note that payments made via M-Pesa will reflect in your account after 24 hours.Any MPESA other than fees should be indicated in the account number option or communicated to finance by email: finance@usiu.ac.ke
Currently, payment is up to a maximum of KES.70, 000 per transaction and a limit of KES.140, 000 transacted per day.
