The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) had given thousands of unemployed teachers who were looking for jobs a reprieve by extending the application deadline from December 16 to December 23.
After the application period closes, the county directors will collect the employment forms on December 28.
The TSC stated in a revised teacher recruitment roadmap that “generation of applicants’ lists, shortlisting by the county selection panel, and invitations for interviews will take place between December 29 and January 5.”
On January 6, the county director will submit a list of the candidates who have been shortlisted to the TSC regional director.
The TSC Regional Director must submit lists of shortlisted applicants to TSC Headquarters by January 10 in order for those names to be made public.
The county’s hiring procedure will last for ten days, from January 13 to January 23.
