Our Client, a leading agricultural service Company with a Sub-Saharan reach based near Nairobi, is looking to recruit a Chief Operations Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving company’s growth agenda, by delivering ever increasing performance excellence in their staff and business processes, to enable successful scale up of their diagnostics, advisory and digital technology platform across SSA. The ideal candidate Must have experience successfully scaling a service or technology business in Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ambitious business growth strategies.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Build a vibrant company culture.
- Implement process improvement strategies across operational departments.
- Implementing OKR performance management system.
- Submit BI performance reports to the CEO.
Qualification:
- Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role.
- Successfully scaled a service or technology business in Africa.
- Strong background in logistics planning.
- Deep understanding of varied business functions.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Outstanding team motivations skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Strong background in Business Administration, MBA is a plus.
