Who you are:

As an ideal candidate, you are someone who has experience working with modern front end technology stack. If you are passionate about front end development, if you enjoy not only sharing a vision but getting your hands dirty to be sure that that vision is made a reality then we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and collaborate with UX designers and backend developers.
  • Build, test, and deploy our Angular-based single page web applications.
  • Ensure our responsive designs look fantastic across all devices and modern browsers.
  • Investigating, identifying and correcting defects in existing code bases.
  • Participating in code reviews and revising own code in response to feedback from other developers.
  • Participating in meetings and other coordination activities with the team.
  • Work with the project managers and users to convert functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience developing for the web and/or mobile.
  • Comfort exploring any uncertain territory.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Self-starter who can work independently.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work effectively with different departments in pursuit of solutions.
  • An eye for detail (you’re a proud member of the Pixel Police).
  • Deep knowledge of HTML5, SASS, CSS3, Angular 2+, JavaScript (ES6), Node.js, Typescript, and responsive web design —particularly Bootstrap 4.
  • Strong debugging, problem solving, and investigative skills.
  • Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages, etc.) and
    pursue leads to find root cause problems.
  • Familiarity with various API technologies like REST, JSON and XML.
  • Experience with version control, preferably Git.
  • Experience working with Android is a plus.

Abilities:

  • Ability to solve complex interactions and demonstrate a high level of critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to accurately translate static mockups into interactive experiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a strong aptitude for translating requirements into visual concepts.
  • Ability to articulate and justify design decisions.
  • Self-starter with a track record of delivering quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Extraordinary attention to details and craftsmanship.
