PAC University’s School of Theology is a community of scholars on an academic, spiritual, and social quest to learn more about the ways of God and to make Him known.   We prepare leaders who are pursuing a wide range of vocations -church ministry, conflict transformation, campus/school ministry, administration, the teaching profession, researchers, justice advocacy, and many more.

The School is directed by the vision of PAC University To be a world-class Christian university, characterized by high quality, transformative and value-based education.”  Important priorities for the School of Theology, is the equipping of the saints for service and community engagement. 

At the School of Theology, faculty and students partner with churches and other religious and community organizations to learn and minister with others and to contribute to a more just, peaceful, and faith-filled world.

We work for excellent teaching and learning, research and community interaction through an ethos and culture of diversity.

The School of Theology has the following three Departments:

Department of Biblical & Theological Studies:

  1. Master of Divinity
  2. Master of Arts in Biblical Theology
  3. Master of Arts in Pentecostal & Charismatic Studies
  4. BA in Bible & Theology
  5. Bachelor of Bible Translation

Bachelor of Arts in Bible & Theology

Entry Requirements

Minimum of KCSE Grade C+ (plus) or its equivalent or C plain with Pre-University Certificate or Relevant Diploma from a recognized institution or mature age entry

Specializations

A student may specialize in any of the following

  1. Biblical Studies
  2. Pastoral studies
  3. Christian education
  4. Mission studies

Master of Arts in Biblical Theology

Admission Requirements

  • Be holders of a relevant academic Bachelor’s Degree: Upper second class honours or a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00; Lower second class honours or a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 with additional relevant training, evidence of research capability either through research, paper presentations or peer reviewed publications and relevant working experience
  • Relevant postgraduate diploma

Application forms should be submitted to the University duly filled and signed,  accompanied by all the other requirements stated therein.

The University is not obligated to return the application form and photocopies of the original documents if the applicant is not admitted, or wishes to withdraw his/her application.

More so, the University is not under any obligation to retain an application if no correspondence has been received within a twelve-month period from the date of application.
