Micro-Finance Company: Chief Operations Officer Job 2019
Our client, a leading Micro-Finance Company based in Nairobi that offers personal loan to permanently employed Civil servants is seeking to recruit a Chief Operations Officer who will be responsible for planning and implementing operational strategies, plans and procedures. The ideal candidate Must have experience working the Financial Service Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and implementing operational strategies, plans and procedures.

- Responsible for the maintenance and proper functioning of all product systems.
- Responsible for serving as the custodian of operational policies and procedures of the business.

Qualification:
- • Must have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree
- • Post Graduate Degree is essential
- • 5 years executive management experience in a substantial finance business in Kenya
- • Must have proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
- • Must have an understanding of business functions such as Finance, Sales & marketing, HR etc.
- • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- • An excellent command of English, both written and verbal
