Latest Applications for Erasmus and International Credit Mobility

Call for applications for 4 grants for PhD and Staff Mobility to Madrid and Barcelona.

Since 2015 Alliance 4 Universities has been taking part in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme (Action KA171). Through this programme, students and staff from non-European partner universities can come in exchange for studies, research, teaching or training at A4U universities. Vice versa, students and staff from A4U universities can go on exchange to non-European countries.

The open calls for applications will be published below, and the previous calls and results are available here.

In order to apply:

  • Read carefully the call for applications to check your eligibility and conditions of the mobility scheme.
  • Check the applicants’ guide (below) for step-by-step instructions on how to complete the application.
  • Check participating universities’ factsheets below for their course/research offer, available services and contact details.
  • Complete the online application form in your category of mobility (Bachelor, Master, PhD or staff), attaching the requested documents. Applicants are strongly advised to submit their applications well before the deadline so that their applications can be checked and omissions addressed if any.

List of provisionally admitted applications of Bachelor and Master studentsPhD students and staff. Those whose application has not been admitted can amend it by providing missing documentation via the corresponding cure period form below (Bachelor, Master, PhD or staff) from 18 to 27 April. Missing recommendation letters should be sent by referees directly to coordinacion@a-4u.eu by the end of 27 April. Those whose application has been admitted do not need to do anything, their application proceeds to selection.

Application for the mobility of Bachelor students

  • – Cure period form
  • – Transcript of Records
  • – Learning Agreement (fill in the first 3 pages only. Those who apply for mobility to Spain should have their learning agreement signed by the sending institution and the applicant. Signatures can be scanned.)
  • – Letter of support provided by the sending university, indicating the average mark for the applicant’s transcript of records, and confirming that the applicant’s level of English is at least B2.
  • – Recommendation letter in Spanish or in English, to be sent directly by the referee to coordinacion@a-4u.eu with “Recommendation letter” in the subject line, by the application deadline).
  • – Motivation letter
  • – Those applying for a top-up grant for disadvantaged participants should provide official documentation that certifies the disadvantaged background.

Application for the mobility of Master students

  • – Cure period form
  • – Transcript of Records for both the Bachelor’s degree and Master’s courses already taken.
  • – Learning Agreement (fill in the first 3 pages only. Those who apply for mobility to Spain should have their learning agreement signed by the sending institution and the applicant. Signatures can be scanned.)
  • – Letter of support provided by the sending university, indicating the average mark for each of the applicant’s transcripts of records, and confirming that the applicant’s level of English is at least B2.
  • – Recommendation letter in Spanish or in English, to be sent directly by the referee to coordinacion@a-4u.eu with “Recommendation letter” in the subject line, by the application deadline.
  • – Motivation letter.
  • – Those applying for a top-up grant for disadvantaged participants should provide official documentation that certifies the disadvantaged background.

Application for the mobility of PhD students

  • – Cure period form
  • – Learning Agreement for PhD students (Fill in the first 4 pages only. Only proposals signed by both sending and receiving institutions and the applicant will be accepted. Signatures can be scanned).
  • – CV
  • – Recommendation letter in English or Spanish, to be sent directly by the referee to coordinacion@a-4u.eu, with “Recommendation letter” in the subject field by the application deadline.
  • – Those applying for a top-up grant for disadvantaged participants should provide official documentation that certifies the disadvantaged background.
