KNEC PAYMENT RATES FOR 2022 SUPERVISORS, INVIGILATORS, DEPUTY CENTRE MANAGERS, AND CENTER MANAGERS

Unfortunately, KNEC has not applied for extra cash in the 2022/2023 budgetary allocation to cater to a possible increase in this year’s KNEC payment rates. This, therefore, means that the payment rates for KCPE 2022 and KCSE 2022 examiners will remain constant while deputy center managers will again walk home empty-handed in spite of undertaking an active role in the administration of the national tests.

The KNEC payment rates per day for invigilators, supervisors, and center managers are as follows

According to Payment details released by the Council, the Primary school heads who act as Centre Managers for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, exams pocket a daily subsistence allowance of Sh500; for a total of 4 days (including rehearsal day).

On their part, Secondary school Principals also earn a daily allowance of Sh500 for 18 days. The highest-paid Supervisor will walk away with a sum total of Sh12,510 while the highest-paid invigilator gets Sh9860.
