Kisii University Online Registration For 2020

This is to inform all the Kisii University, Kenya University and Colleges Central Placement Students (KUCCPS) and Self Sponsored Programme (SSP) First Year students and Post Graduate students that the online reporting dates for the September – December Semester, 2020/2021 academic year, will be on 31st August, 2020. Please note that due to COVID-19 there shall be no physical reporting to the Main University and the Satellite Campuses. The information regarding online reporting is provided below.

(i) Online Admission

All KUCCPS (Government Sponsored Students) and SSP (Self Sponsored Programme Students) First Year students are advised to follow the
procedure below for online registration:

1. Go to https://selfcare.kisiiuniversity.ac.ke/

2. Login with your official corporate University email as username (as appears on your admission letter)

3. Your password is your KCSE index number/2019 for KUCCPS 2020 intake and for other groups, use your registration number in capital letters.

4. Click on begin admission

5. Complete the blank fields and attach the required documents

6. Submit the application

7. Progress notifications on your admission status will be sent to your corporate University email

All First Years who have not yet obtained their Admission Letters should visit https://selfcare.kisiiuniversity.ac.ke/search-letters or go to https://kisiiuniversity.freshdesk.com or contact admissions@kisiiuniversity.ac.ke for support in the processing of your admission.

(ii) Deferment

Students who wish to defer their studies on fee or medical grounds, may do so on the Kisii University Self care portal. https://selfcare.kisiiuniversity.ac.ke starting from 8th September, 2020.

(iii) Inter-Faculty Transfer

Students who wish to change their course will be allowed to apply for the same as from 8th September, 2020 for a two week period after the online registration. Those students who qualify for the transfer will be communicated to using their university email addresses.

(iv) Orientation

Virtual Orientation will be conducted after students report for the Semester as from 2nd September, 2020 to 11th September, 2020 and Virtual Learning will commence on 14th September, 2020.

(v) Fees

All School fees payments by students should be made to the University Bank Account as provided below:

B. CONTINUING STUDENTS

(i) Examinations for Continuing Students

All Continuing Students are advised to download their examination cards and continue preparing for the online exams. All students are expected to have a lap or desktop computer installed with a camera for use during the examination. Communication on examination dates will be done soon through the Kisii University Website www.kisiiuniversity.ac.ke

(ii) Graduation

There will be a Virtual Graduation in December, 2020 on a date that will be communicated.
