KCSE 2022 courses selection

When Mr Machogu announced the KCSE exam results in January, he instructed Kuccps to act quickly and determine the number of spots available in universities, colleges, and TVET schools so that learner placement could start right away.

MAIN RATIONALE FOR FORMING THE EDUCATION TASK FORCE

To ensure that educational institutions are ready to accept students, the placement service should also work with the Commission for University Education (CUE) and the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), according to the Cabinet Secretary.

“This is consistent with the government’s objective of 100% transition and the Ministry of Education’s goal of providing fair and equitable access to excellent and relevant higher education and training.”

The terms require the PWPER of reference to solicit public opinion and provide recommendations on a variety of problems pertaining to higher education.

As has been the pattern since 2017, it’s likely that not all of the 173,345 students who met the requirements for admission to universities would receive government sponsorship.

Since then, the number of qualifiers has more than doubled while financing has stayed largely the same.

The percentage of applicants who met the requirements for admission to a university was 19.03 percent.
