- The minimum entry requirements of all master’s programs in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) shall apply.
- Meet the common Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) School of Graduate Studies and College of Health Sciences (COHES) entry requirements as they refer to Master of Clinical Medicine programmes.
- Be a holder of the Bachelor of Science Clinical Medicine degree of JKUAT or is a holder of the Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine degree or equivalent from other institutions recognized by the JKUAT Senate. Be registered as a graduate Clinical Officer after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine and undertaking a one-year internship, at the Clinical Officer’s Council (COC).
- Pass admission interviews as determined by the Department of Postgraduate Committee within the Department or School of Medicine at the College of Health Sciences (CoHES).
Foreign students
a) Shall provide a translated and certified copy of his or her bachelor’s degree certificate that is verified by the Commission of University Education (CUE)
b) Must be eligible for registration by the COC. Proof of registration will be required before admission into the programme.
c) Shall provide a certificate of good conduct from a council equivalent to the COC in his or her country of origin
d) The faculty may require the student to appear for an interview to determine their suitability for admission.
e) Should have a certificate of proof of proficiency in English if they are not from an English-speaking country.
f) Should have letters of reference from two academic referees
g) All learners are required to have medical practice indemnity cover of not less than 1 million shillings annually
