Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) has released the Junior Certificate Examination (JCE) Results. A total of 43 883 candidates sat for the examination showing an increase of about 7% in candidature compared to 41 048 candidates in. There were 21 683 (49%) male candidates and 22 200 (51%) female candidates sitting for the Junior Certificate Examination.
Private candidates are informed that Registration for Private Candidates will start on 17 February until 03 April 2021 for JCE and 02 March to 30 April (For BGCSE and GCE O’ Level) Examinations .
The information regarding Registration can be accessed through Malepa, the BEC website at www.bec.co.bw, BEC Facebook page (Botswana Examinations Council) and Twitter Page (@Bots_Exams). PSLE registration will run from 03 February until 13 March.
BOTSWANA GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (BGCSE) EXAMINATION RESULTS ARE RELEASED Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) has released the Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) examination results. A total of 36 557 candidates wrote the examination showing a small increase in candidature compared to the 2019 cohort of 36 508. There were 15 297 (41.84%) male candidates and 21 260 (58.16%) female candidates.
