Online check-in is the process in which passengers confirm their presence on a flight via the Internet and typically print their own boarding passes. Depending on the carrier and the specific flight, passengers may also enter details such as meal options and baggage quantities and select their preferred seating.
Online check-in allows you to check-in in advance for your flight using either the airline’s website or mobile app. With online check-in, you no longer need to wait until you are at the airport to check in instead, you do so prior to the day of the flight from the comfort of your home.

Online check-in for international flights opens 30 hours (24 hours before in case of flights to or from the United States) before the scheduled departure of the flight and closes 1 hour before departure. For domestic flights, passengers are required to check in at least one and a half hours, and counters close 30 minutes before departure.

Flight Reconfirmation Requirement.
Guests who intend to utilize their booking will be required to reconfirm their bookings latest 72 hours before departure for domestic travel and 7 days before departure for international travel. Bookings made and ticketed below these timings must be reconfirmed at the time of ticketing. When can I check in?
International Check-in
For all international flights, passengers are required to check in at least two and a half hours before departure of the flight (irrespective of Class of travel). Counters close one hour prior to departure.
Check-in to the US
Online check-in to the USA is restricted due to security reasons. Kindly check in at the airport.
Domestic Check-in
Passengers on domestic flights are required to produce some acceptable form of identification at check-in. They are required to check in at least one and a half hours (irrespective of Class of travel). Counters close 30 minutes before departure.
Priority Check-in

Online Check-in
You can now check-in online with an e-ticket from 30 hours until 1 hour before departure. Jump the long queues at selected airports and choose your preferred seat then print out your boarding pass at your own convenience. At the airport, drop off your luggage at the dedicated online check-in drop-off point and proceed to the boarding gate. Online Check-in is now leaps and bounds ahead of Kenya Airways.
